The literary and arts magazine of Hopkins School

Who We Are

Daystar, Hopkins School’s premier literary and arts magazine, will celebrate its 100th birthday in a few short years!  As an eclectic student club, as well as a student-run publication, Daystar meets twice a month to discuss our peers' work and to enjoy the world of literature and art. We also sponsor campus-wide activities such as student poetry readings, coffee houses, and a spring arts festival on the green.

We accept submissions of visual art, poetry, prose, and non-fiction throughout the year. We publish two publications annually, a small chapbook in late winter and a full-sized magazine in late spring. All Hopkins' students are invited to participate either by submitting or participating in any of the activities.
